Unison home insurance customers looking to take advantage of the current housing market and sell their property in order to try and grab a bargain should reach for their camera, it has been suggested.Mark Milner, the chief executive of property website Primelocation.com, explains when people browse potential residences on the internet, they view photos as a “prerequisite”.He adds that ideally, someone looking to show off their home should aim to get a photo of each room of their house, as well as a shot of the exterior. The expert also recommends people make their place look as clean and tidy as possible, as a less than pristine appearance could put potential buyers off, as could garish decor and furniture. He concludes: “Photos are fundamental in helping to sell properties.”Meanwhile, David Amstell, the founder of estate agent website Briffy.com, recently said the current property market offers an “excellent” opportunity for people to buy in.The bottom could be in sight for the property market in the UK, which could be great news for anyone looking to buy a home in the near future.Independent property investment consultancy Ducalian has stated that there has been a distinct upturn in buyer interest in the last month, leading many to believe that the worst could soon be over for the sector.
